How the app handles progress, sync, audio, purchases and notifications.

About this policy

Compound Verbs KeelAI (Составные глаголы KeelAI), package ai.keel.compoundverbs, is a standalone language dictionary and practice app. This policy covers its iOS and Android versions. The main KeelAI service and external websites have separate policies.

Data used by the app

No account is required for local learning. Answers, lesson history, progress, favourites, preferences and downloaded audio are stored on your device. If you choose email sign-in, we process your email address, one-time login codes, session identifiers and cloud learning progress to synchronise your KeelAI account. The app does not record your voice, request contacts or location, show advertising or use cross-app tracking.

Why we process data

We use local learning data to provide exercises and repetition. Optional cloud sync sends progress and selections to KeelAI. Pronunciation requests send the selected dictionary expression and course language to the KeelAI audio service; when audio is not cached, that service requests synthesis from ElevenLabs. Network services may receive IP addresses and technical request information for delivery, security and diagnostics. We do not send your email or learning history to ElevenLabs.

Purchases and service providers

Apple App Store and Google Play process the one-time full-access purchase. The app receives and verifies transaction information to unlock access and restore purchases. We do not receive payment card details. Daily reminders are scheduled locally. Optional learning tips use Firebase Cloud Messaging, which processes an installation identifier, push token, language topic and technical delivery data; iOS also uses Apple Push Notification service. Apple, Google and ElevenLabs process relevant data under their policies. If you contact support, we receive your email and message. We do not sell personal data.

Storage and retention

Device data remains until you reset progress, clear app data or uninstall. Device backups may affect retention. Cloud data remains while your KeelAI account exists; you can request account deletion in the app. Audio may be cached on your device and by the pronunciation service. Turning off learning tips disables push registration. Store records follow the store’s retention rules. Security logs and support correspondence are retained only as necessary for their purpose and applicable obligations.

Your controls

You can learn without an account or notifications. Settings let you control practice reminders and learning tips independently, download audio, sign out of sync and reset progress for the selected language. System settings let you revoke notifications. You can restore a purchase with the same store account; purchases do not transfer between Apple and Google.

Account and data deletion

When signed in, open Settings > Progress sync > Delete KeelAI account. The confirmation explains that this permanently deletes your shared KeelAI account and its cloud data across KeelAI apps. Local progress and your store purchase remain; reset local progress separately. Store subscriptions in other apps must be cancelled separately in that store. You can also request deletion at https://keelai.ai/en/account-deletion or contact privacy@keelai.ai. Certain transaction records may be retained where required by law.

Audience

The app is designed for independent language learners and does not request a date of birth. Purchases and device permissions are subject to store and device-owner controls. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal data to support.

Security

Service communication uses HTTPS. Native login sessions use the operating system’s secure storage. Protect your device and store account. Providers may process data outside your country under their published safeguards. No service can guarantee absolute security.

Privacy questions
