How the app handles progress, purchases and optional notifications.

About this policy

Numbers by Ear — KeelAI (Числа на слух — KeelAI), package ai.keel.numbers, is a standalone listening practice app. This policy covers its iOS and Android versions. The main KeelAI service and external websites have their own policies.

Who operates the app

Data used by the app

No app account is required. Answers, lesson history, progress, preferences and reminder settings are stored on your device. We do not upload your answers or learning progress. The app does not record your voice, access contacts or location, show advertising or include analytics tracking.

Purchases and optional notifications

Apple App Store or Google Play processes your lifetime purchase using your store account. The app receives purchase status and transaction information to unlock access and restore purchases; it verifies this information on the device. We do not receive your payment card details. Daily practice reminders are scheduled locally. News notifications are a separate opt-in. Only when you enable news, Firebase Cloud Messaging processes an app installation identifier, push token, language subscription and technical delivery data. These are used to deliver app news, not to track you across apps.

Service providers

Apple and Google provide distribution, billing and notification infrastructure. Google Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers optional news; on iOS delivery also uses Apple Push Notification service. These providers process relevant technical and store data under their policies. Lesson audio is prerecorded and bundled with the app; playing it does not send learner data to ElevenLabs. If you email support, we receive your email address and the message you choose to send. We do not sell personal data.

Storage and retention

Local learning data remains until you reset it, clear app data or remove the app. Device backup settings may affect local data retention. Disabling news unregisters the push token and language topic. Store transaction records remain subject to the store’s retention rules. We keep support correspondence only as needed to handle your request and any applicable record-keeping obligations.

Your controls

You can use the app without notifications. In Settings > Notifications, independently control daily reminders and news; you can also revoke notification permission in system settings. In Settings > Help and about, Reset progress removes learning history and the unfinished lesson while preserving your purchase and preferences. You can clear all local app data or uninstall the app. A store purchase can be restored with the same store account.

Account and deletion requests

This app does not create a KeelAI account, so there is no app account to delete. To request deletion of support correspondence or ask about notification data, contact privacy@keelai.ai. For store payment records or refunds, use the relevant Apple or Google account controls. Accounts in the separate main KeelAI app are managed separately.

Audience

The app is designed for independent language learners and does not ask for a date of birth. Purchases and device permissions remain subject to the store’s and device owner’s controls. Please contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information to support.

Security

Network communication for purchases and push delivery uses the providers’ encrypted services. Learning data stays in the app’s local storage. Protect your device and store account with the security controls provided by your operating system. Service providers may process data in countries outside your country of residence under their published privacy terms.

Privacy questions

Contact privacy@keelai.ai for access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests regarding data we hold. You may withdraw optional notification consent at any time. You may also contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon). Product support: support@keelai.ai.
